Algebra

Algebra is considered foundation for many classed throughout school. I will help you develop your critical thinking skills that includes problem solving, logic patterns and reasoning. I also teach Algebra by breaking down difficult concepts using a step by step approach or teach concepts by showing students how to apply them to practical, real world problems. I enjoy building on a student's intuition in Algebra. All the complicated topics can be easily understood with my simplified explanations.

Geometry

Earth Measurement” holds the tools to understand surrounds around us better. I will teach you foundational skills and helps to build the thinking skills of logic, deductive reasoning, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving. I connect all Geometry concepts to real world problems, and I can find one that helps you move forward and have fun.

Precalculus

Precalculus is designed to prepare you for the study of calculus. Since each topic in math builds on previous topics, I will make sure you master each stage on the road to calculus which include algebra (ex: manipulate algebraic expressions including using rules of exponents) geometry (ex: graph quadratic and cubic functions, ellipses, circles and hyperbolas) and trigonometry (ex: trigonometric functions)

Trigonometry

I enjoy teaching trigonometry concepts and then showing students how to apply them to practical, real world problems. Trigonometry has many applications in a variety of professions. Knowledge of the principles of this subject will help the student in many disciplines. My favorite part of trigonometry is sharing a breakthrough with someone. I know lots of different ways to approach trigonometry and I can find one that helps you move forward and have fun. I especially enjoy building on a student's intuition in Trigonometry. I explain concepts in a simple and easy to understand fashion. My approach is always to learn about the individual and then tailor the sessions accordingly. All parts of math are connected, and I help students develop skills and improve their outlook by leveraging those connections.

AP Calculus

AP Calculus is a rigorous, college-level mathematics course centered on the study of change through limits, derivatives, and integrals. Students develop a deep conceptual understanding by connecting graphical, numerical, analytical, and verbal representations of functions. The course emphasizes not only computational skills, but also the ability to justify solutions, interpret results, and apply mathematical reasoning to real-world contexts. Through modeling and problem-solving, students learn how calculus describes motion, growth, and accumulation across a wide range of scientific and practical applications.
